An unexpectedly hard shot by 傅辰峰 in the 13th minute of play forced Creekers's goalkeeper Emerson Higgins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Emmanuel Yeager's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 龚旭常 was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. 程浩荣 hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 17 minutes into the game, Ari Laird recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 龚旭常. Ari Laird showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Emmanuel Yeager could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but 龚旭常 made a huge save. In the 20th minute Emmanuel Yeager shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 龚旭常 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Emmanuel Yeager dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 龚旭常, 2-0. When Ari Laird came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Creekers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ari Laird couldn't finish the play. Ari Laird's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 龚旭常 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. 唐桦誉 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 傅辰峰 in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emerson Higgins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Creekers's Emerson Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 傅辰峰 in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emmanuel Yeager made a kick off. Creekers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 上海江南长兴造船农民工联队 the free kick. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Creekers! In the 65th minute, Emmanuel Yeager got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The throw-in from 尤松耀 in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Creekers's Alfred Crowder. 龚旭常 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ari Laird in the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Ari Laird got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 唐桦誉 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 87 played minutes Creekers got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Bland. After some careless play in the Creekers defense, 傅辰峰 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emerson Higgins. The Creekers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson Higgins should have stopped the shot. Emmanuel Yeager hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match.
