Ief Van den Berghe started the match with the kick off. Wouter De Keyser hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Sidnei Trancoso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sidnei Trancoso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik De Geyter got free with Edvaldo Brasil in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jasper De Raeijmaecker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Medeiros, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 11 minutes, Wouter De Keyser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Invictus FC and the λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 11th match minute, Invictus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wouter De Keyser to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Vides's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jasper De Raeijmaecker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Richard Worteleers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ief Van den Berghe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Edvaldo Brasil made a huge save. Jasper De Raeijmaecker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Medeiros in the 16th minute of play. Edvaldo Brasil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Worteleers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Wouter De Keyser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 22nd minute Richard Worteleers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sidnei Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sidnei Trancoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Reinaert Kerkhofs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvaldo Brasil having to interfere. If Hugo Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ief Van den Berghe in the 65th minute of play forced λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's goalkeeper Edvaldo Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 67th minute, Ief Van den Berghe made a precise shot to the right of Edvaldo Brasil. λᴠαηᴛє ғᴄ.ᴿˢ•ᴮR's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 78th minute, Hamílton Martins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jasper De Raeijmaecker. The goal made the score 1-1.
