The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Reinaert Kerkhofs scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomáš Krajíček, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Koloman Kohút reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jasper De Raeijmaecker. The goal made the score 1-1. After 23 played minutes Invictus FC got a freekick which was hit by Julius De Leger. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ief Van den Berghe in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomáš Krajíček prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Lex Academy's Jasper De Raeijmaecker threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Koloman Kohút, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tomáš Krajíček showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaert Kerkhofs in the 35th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Invictus FC's Ief Van den Berghe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomáš Krajíček made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Lex Academy's Tomáš Krajíček played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Worteleers in the 44th minute of play. Tomáš Krajíček showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Richard Worteleers, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Invictus FC's Jasper De Raeijmaecker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michal Stříž in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Invictus FC's Julius De Leger got a free kick in the 55th minute. Reinaert Kerkhofs kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 60 minutes into the match, Lex Academy's goal looked a bit too open when Ief Van den Berghe came free, but Tomáš Krajíček reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Invictus FC's Richard Worteleers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tomáš Krajíček. That made the score 1-3 after 64 minutes of play. Jasper De Raeijmaecker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radek Husák in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Wouter De Keyser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomáš Krajíček took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ief Van den Berghe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Worteleers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Krajíček having to interfere. A collision led to Lex Academy getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Richard Beneda hit a great ball. Tomáš Krajíček was a little too slow when Fredrik De Geyter got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 1-4. With a little luck, Lex Academy's Tomáš Krajíček got control of the ball when Ief Van den Berghe tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd match minute, Lex Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Koloman Kohút to maneuver through the defense. Reinaert Kerkhofs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomáš Krajíček having to interfere.
