The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Toninho Trancoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hilario Fenomeno in the 8th minute of play. Wilson Favoretto's late challenge caught a JURIDIQUES F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wilson Favoretto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11thth minute of the game Cristiano Romário who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SC Bertioga's Toninho Trancoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Oliveira took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Percy Palmeira. Percy Palmeira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 17th minute, Wilson Favoretto made a precise shot to the right of Percy Palmeira. JURIDIQUES F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. The supporters of JURIDIQUES F.C booed when SC Bertioga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilton Barral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 23rd play minutes Marquinhos Meirelles shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Percy Palmeira and just under the crossbar into goal. 28 minutes into the match, JURIDIQUES F.C's goalkeeper Percy Palmeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson Favoretto. 30 minutes into the game, Renatinho Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JURIDIQUES F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Bertioga the free kick. A collision led to JURIDIQUES F.C getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Renatinho Vale hit a great ball. The supporters of SC Bertioga booed when JURIDIQUES F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristiano Romário didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy Palmeira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Favoretto in the 33rd minute. In the 38th minute, Donato Oliveira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Percy Palmeira, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, JURIDIQUES F.C's Hilario Fenomeno got a free kick in the 40th minute. SC Bertioga's Wilton Barral shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Percy Palmeira but with some difficulty.

After 53 minutes of play, SC Bertioga's Wilson Favoretto made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percy Palmeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marquinhos Meirelles might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Percy Palmeira. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marquinhos Meirelles ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute, Donato Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind SC Bertioga's goalkeeper Toninho Trancoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 64 minutes into the game, Wilson Favoretto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Percy Palmeira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Percy Palmeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Favoretto in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, SC Bertioga's Wilson Favoretto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy Palmeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Renatinho Vale hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Toninho Trancoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristiano Romário, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. When Wilson Favoretto came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the SC Bertioga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Favoretto couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in JURIDIQUES F.C's zone, Donato Oliveira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Percy Palmeira came out of the goal and Donato Oliveira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. SC Bertioga had played much better football throughout.
