The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Atilano Izotz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Anacleto Honrio, 2-1. Nicolas Rico hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Denis Ebardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Justino Noe got free with Anacleto Honrio in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anacleto Honrio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 45th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Patricio Vela. After a rather tough play, ROJO's Lázaro Orland got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 53 minutes, Denis Ebardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ROJO and the INTERNACIONAL DE MURAROA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd match minute, ROJO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Ebardo to maneuver through the defense.
