The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 8 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Faik İçöz came free, but Raimundo Delgado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faik İçöz charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faik İçöz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Luís Figo's late challenge caught a SOFiNiN KEDiSi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Figo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Garanhão do SUL's Luís Figo got a free kick in the 12th minute. Raimundo Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taha Arıkhan in the 14th minute of the match. In the 18th match minute, SOFiNiN KEDiSi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfü Tanbolat to maneuver through the defense. Raimundo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taha Arıkhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A nice corner shot did that Faik İçöz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Raimundo Delgado quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Garanhão do SUL defense, Faik İçöz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raimundo Delgado. The Garanhão do SUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raimundo Delgado should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Sadri Yücesan got control of the ball when Patrício Poças tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Patrício Poças came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Garanhão do SUL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrício Poças couldn't finish the play. Sílvio Moutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Taha Arıkhan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Gaspar Valadão, made in the 40th minute of the game. Patrício Poças fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadri Yücesan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvério Sabrosa in the 45th minute of play forced SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goalkeeper Sadri Yücesan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Lütfü Tanbolat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SOFiNiN KEDiSi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garanhão do SUL the free kick. After a rather tough play, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's Lütfü Tanbolat got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 49th minute of the match Aristides Brochado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sadri Yücesan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romão Miranda made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Silvério Sabrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sadri Yücesan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sadri Yücesan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romão Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Sadri Yücesan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Sabrosa in the 55th minute of the match. Sadri Yücesan came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Romão Miranda. But to his dismay, Romão Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lütfü Tanbolat hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Sadri Yücesan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvério Sabrosa in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goal looked a bit too open when Patrício Poças came free, but Sadri Yücesan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Garanhão do SUL's Silvério Sabrosa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sadri Yücesan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Garanhão do SUL's Álvaro Calçada was substituted for Patrício Poças. 77 minutes into the game, Romão Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Sadri Yücesan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to SOFiNiN KEDiSi getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Faik İçöz hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Álvaro Calçada in the 81st minute of play forced SOFiNiN KEDiSi's goalkeeper Sadri Yücesan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sadri Yücesan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romão Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Garanhão do SUL's Raimundo Delgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Garanhão do SUL from getting a goal against them. Ali Asım Şensal hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Sadri Yücesan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Calçada went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 95 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Raimundo Delgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faik İçöz. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Garanhão do SUL fully deserved thier win.
