Spectators: 7520 (Terracing: 5641, Seating: 1729, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Petrică Pășcuțoiu kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Vama Veche ™ booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filinto Coelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avram Beca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romão Miranda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romão Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avram Beca having to make a save. If Patrício Poças had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Figo to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Avram Beca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrício Poças took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Avram Beca. Avram Beca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 32 minutes into the game, Costică Simionaş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vama Veche ™'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garanhão do SUL the free kick. Costică Simionaş hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Patrício Poças cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Avram Beca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 35th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romão Miranda to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Raimundo Delgado got control of the ball when Marian Brăiloiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Romão Miranda notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Vama Veche ™'s Avram Beca. Avram Beca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrício Poças in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Avram Beca prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Avram Beca came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Garanhão do SUL's Romão Miranda. But to his dismay, Romão Miranda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After 48 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Artur Curado. 49 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s Ioan Dragotescu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half Garanhão do SUL were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romão Miranda to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patrício Poças got free with Avram Beca in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vama Veche ™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Patrício Poças scored to the left of an out of position Avram Beca, making the score, 0-6. Ioan Dragotescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raimundo Delgado. Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th minute, Costică Simionaş hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes Vama Veche ™ got a freekick which was hit by Costică Simionaş. Álvaro Calçada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avram Beca having to interfere. In the 86th minute Romão Miranda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Beca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vama Veche ™'s Avram Beca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Vama Veche ™ from getting a goal against them. When Luís Figo fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave Luís Figo a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by Luís Figo. Raimundo Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petrică Pășcuțoiu in the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Álvaro Calçada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garanhão do SUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. 96 minutes into the match, Álvaro Calçada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Avram Beca. Vama Veche ™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Álvaro Calçada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-10.
