The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Idacio in the 3rd minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lisandro Etxepare blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nunez Fernandez having to make a save. After 8 minutes, Luisito Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.F.Fuenlabrada and the Celtic FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Celtic FC booed when C.F.Fuenlabrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 9 minutes into the match, C.F.Fuenlabrada's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Olo came free, but Nunez Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Celtic FC booed when C.F.Fuenlabrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Adolfo Cristos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Celtic FC's Aquiles Admon got a free kick in the 15th minute. Adolfo Cristos struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Robustiano Eyague didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.F.Fuenlabrada. After 17 played minutes C.F.Fuenlabrada got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Idacio. 22 minutes into the match, Celtic FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Idacio came free, but Robustiano Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Etxepare. In the 30th minute Ramon Salvadore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nunez Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Idacio in the 31st minute of play forced Celtic FC's goalkeeper Robustiano Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Idacio lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Robustiano Eyague. Ciriaco Idacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robustiano Eyague having to interfere. When Ciriaco Idacio was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played.

57 minutes into the match, Adolfo Cristos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robustiano Eyague. Celtic FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adolfo Cristos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Adrian Francis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.F.Fuenlabrada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Luisito Olo scored to the left of an out of position Nunez Fernandez, making the score, 2-1. Lisandro Etxepare kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Nunez Fernandez came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Celtic FC's Maximo Belo. But to his dismay, Maximo Belo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. C.F.Fuenlabrada's Nunez Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Salvadore in the 87th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Olo in the 91st minute of play forced C.F.Fuenlabrada's goalkeeper Nunez Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Cristos during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nunez Fernandez acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eustaquio Guillelmus. In the 93rd match minute, C.F.Fuenlabrada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Felipo to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Celtic FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Ramon Salvadore hit a great ball. Celtic FC's Robustiano Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolfo Cristos in the 96th minute of play. The Celtic FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented C.F.Fuenlabrada from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
