In the 9th match minute, Vama Veche ™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgil Mohora to maneuver through the defense. Oswaldo Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gică Zoreanu having to make a save. Virgil Mohora could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Gino Britto made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Vama Veche ™'s zone, André Romero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gică Zoreanu came out of the goal and André Romero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carlos Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Zoreanu having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Carlos Varela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gică Zoreanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gică Zoreanu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Que se abra o mar's Tostão Linhares. But to his dismay, Tostão Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jardel Toledo lost his temper 33 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 32nd minute, one of Que se abra o mar:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Que se abra o mar. The referee gave Vama Veche ™ a penalty, 34 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Avram Beca, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Que se abra o mar's Gino Britto. 1-1. André Romero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Virgil Mohora got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Virgil Mohora kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Oswaldo Peres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Zoreanu having to interfere. André Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Zoreanu having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Oswaldo Peres to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s goal looked a bit too open when André Romero came free, but Gică Zoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Radu Zdraşcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Vama Veche ™'s Gică Zoreanu got control of the ball when Oswaldo Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, Vama Veche ™'s goalkeeper Gică Zoreanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oswaldo Peres. Gică Zoreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Romero, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Tostão Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gică Zoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oswaldo Peres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Gică Zoreanu made a huge save. André Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 played minutes Vama Veche ™ got a freekick which was hit by Petrică Pășcuțoiu. After 72 minutes of play, Que se abra o mar's Oswaldo Peres made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gică Zoreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Vama Veche ™'s zone, Oswaldo Peres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gică Zoreanu came out of the goal and Oswaldo Peres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Petrică Pășcuțoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vama Veche ™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Petrică Pășcuțoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gino Britto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Zoreanu having to interfere. Vama Veche ™'s Radu Zdraşcu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Vama Veche ™ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Que se abra o mar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
