The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcial Mazule got free with Juarês de Amaral in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. João Francisco Fernandes tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Juarês de Amaral. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-0 in the 12th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Marquês de Herval's goal looked a bit too open when Jurdan Rocandio came free, but Juarês de Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marquês de Herval's Juarês de Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Mazule in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Marcial Mazule notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Marquês de Herval's Juarês de Amaral. Juarês de Amaral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Juarês de Amaral made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Bakar Heneses sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Bakar Heneses hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Jurdan Rocandio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Juarês de Amaral, 4-0. Marcelo Deco's late challenge caught a Marquês de Herval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcelo Deco helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Deportivo ScrugenFC's Marcelo Deco got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Rencio Peral came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Deportivo ScrugenFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rencio Peral couldn't finish the play. Juarês de Amaral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jurdan Rocandio in the 41st minute of the match. In the 42nd play minute Marcial Mazule came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Juarês de Amaral. 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcial Mazule to make the kick off. Baltazar Gaúcho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 51st minute. Marquês de Herval's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Emilio Toraya hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Baltazar Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. José Carlos Senna hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes Marquês de Herval got a freekick which was hit by Baltazar Gaúcho. In the 59th minute, Marcial Mazule left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo ScrugenFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Juarês de Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Mazule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bakar Heneses fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juarês de Amaral having to interfere. 91 minutes into the game, Bakar Heneses cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Juarês de Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo ScrugenFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
