The ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO's Mané Aguado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The supporters of Juoksengi booed when ClUb DePoRtIvO LUGO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xabel Beloki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Jonasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
