They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Cornel Vornic could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Leopoldo Cerezo made a huge save. UFC Puturoasa's Anton Grimalschi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Gerber in the 53rd minute of play.
