Karol Kornatowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvaldo de Sousa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Gilbert Kissel struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Edvaldo de Sousa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Ruch Chorzów. Jaroslaw Furtok might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvaldo de Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jaroslaw Furtok ran back to his position shaking his head. Karol Kornatowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Karol Kornatowski scored to the left of an out of position Edvaldo de Sousa, making the score, 1-0. In the 18th match minute, KS Ruch Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaroslaw Marchlewicz to maneuver through the defense. Jaroslaw Furtok might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvaldo de Sousa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karol Kornatowski got free with Edvaldo de Sousa in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karol Kornatowski in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edvaldo de Sousa saved CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA from getting behind. Rogério Gomes charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rogério Gomes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rogério Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. A collision led to KS Ruch Chorzów getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Teobald Dyczkowski hit a great ball. After 43 minutes, Wladyslaw Zdrojewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Ruch Chorzów and the CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karol Kornatowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Edvaldo de Sousa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Osvaldo Soares to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Karol Kornatowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo de Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvaldo de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karol Kornatowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. KS Ruch Chorzów's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
