An unexpectedly hard shot by Karol Kornatowski in the 4th minute of play forced UFC Puturoasa's goalkeeper Anton Grimalschi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of UFC Puturoasa booed when KS Ruch Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KS Ruch Chorzów reached it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karol Kornatowski couldn't finish the play. The referee ignored KS Ruch Chorzów's protests and gave Karol Kornatowski a yellow card for diving instead. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Boleslaw Chlapowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. UFC Puturoasa's Anton Grimalschi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Furtok in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 54 played minutes UFC Puturoasa got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Bumbu. With a little luck, UFC Puturoasa's Anton Grimalschi got control of the ball when Karol Kornatowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anton Grimalschi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karol Kornatowski in the 95th minute of the match. KS Ruch Chorzów's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
