After 17 played minutes, Inter Gala's Tales Alvarenga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Anton Grimalschi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inter Gala reached it. Inter Gala's José Vítor Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anton Grimalschi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Vítor Nóbrega in the 26th minute of play. The Inter Gala fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Inter Gala's José Vítor Nóbrega looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when José Vítor Nóbrega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Inter Gala's Faustão Hermes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Inter Gala from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute Pavel Spãtaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustão Hermes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustão Hermes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Spãtaru in the 68th minute of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing UFC Puturoasa would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
