The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luís Fábio Machado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Aparecido having to interfere. When Valdir Urbano fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Misericordia EC's protests and gave Valdir Urbano a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of 100 Chance booed when Misericordia EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to 100 Chance getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Luís Fábio Machado hit a great ball. Daniel Gomes hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Vágner Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Cerezo having to interfere. Clemente Meira hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, 100 Chance's Daniel Gomes got a free kick in the 27th minute. Leopoldo Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Gaúcho in the 29th minute of play. Leopoldo Cerezo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir Urbano in the 32nd minute of the match. Sandro Berger took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Leopoldo Cerezo. 100 Chance's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 39 played minutes, Misericordia EC's Sandro Berger shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Leopoldo Cerezo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Misericordia EC reached it. In the 47th minute, Sandro Berger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Vicente Nogueira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Misericordia EC's Iuri Aparecido didn't even have to move. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When 100 Chance's Naldo Marquez, in the 53rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for 100 Chance. Edu Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Aparecido having to interfere. Leopoldo Cerezo was a little too slow when Alex Gaúcho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Gaúcho in the 61st minute of play forced 100 Chance's goalkeeper Leopoldo Cerezo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute, Luís Fábio Machado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valdir Urbano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Leopoldo Cerezo made a huge save. When Bruno Machado fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Misericordia EC's protests and gave Bruno Machado a yellow card for diving instead. If Alex Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Misericordia EC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Sandro Berger hit a great ball. 91 minutes into the match, 100 Chance's Vicente Nogueira broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Valdir Urbano took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leopoldo Cerezo. Leopoldo Cerezo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The 100 Chance fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Misericordia EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
