ATLAS Mysłowice's Waclaw Zielinski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save ATLAS Mysłowice from getting a goal against them. A collision led to ATLAS Mysłowice getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Miroslaw Odachowski hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alex Gaúcho got free with Waclaw Zielinski in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tanek Banas kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Misericordia EC's Iuri Aparecido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucjan Wicherek in the 32nd minute of play. Jerzy Dunajski took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iuri Aparecido. Iuri Aparecido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sandro Berger during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sandro Berger hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Iuri Aparecido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucjan Wicherek in the 39th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jerzy Dunajski in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iuri Aparecido saved Misericordia EC from getting behind. Waclaw Zielinski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Gaúcho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jerzy Dunajski to strike the kick off in the second half. Sandro Berger hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the match, ATLAS Mysłowice's Jerzy Dunajski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 54 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Wicherek came free, but Iuri Aparecido reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Clemente Meira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Sandro Berger was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. In the 64th match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandro Berger to maneuver through the defense. Iuri Aparecido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Dunajski in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Waldemar Wicherek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 77 minutes into the game, Jerzy Dunajski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Iuri Aparecido. Jerzy Dunajski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. When Valdir Urbano came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Misericordia EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir Urbano couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind ATLAS Mysłowice's goalkeeper Waclaw Zielinski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Waclaw Zielinski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Gaúcho in the 88th minute of play. Although Misericordia EC had been in control for most of the match, ATLAS Mysłowice still came away with the win.
