Spectators: 7701 (Terracing: 5777, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 153) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zbyszek Giec got the match started through his kick off. After 2 played minutes Nieciece got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Lichucki. After 9 minutes, Ferruccio Domenici mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Montesacro FC and the Nieciece players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ferruccio Domenici hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 12 played minutes Nieciece got a freekick which was hit by Ludomir Topolski. After 13 minutes of play, Montesacro FC's Ciro Di Martino made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Konrad Niezywy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Konrad Niezywy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Stumpo in the 22nd minute of play. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Zbyszek Giec sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the game, one of Nieciece:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 29th minute, Ferruccio Domenici made a precise shot to the right of Konrad Niezywy. Nieciece's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Ignacy Lichucki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Beppe Cannavacciuolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Ludomir Topolski sent off a good shot on target. After 43 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Tabacco. 47 minutes into the game, Witold Komanski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Beppe Cannavacciuolo. Witold Komanski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After the first half Montesacro FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edmondo De Lorenzi to make the kick off. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ignacy Lichucki in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Nieciece getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Zbyszek Giec hit a great ball. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zbyszek Giec in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ignacy Lichucki came free, but Beppe Cannavacciuolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 68 played minutes Nieciece got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Lichucki. Eugeniusz Kochowski hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Montesacro FC's Beppe Cannavacciuolo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignacy Lichucki in the 74th minute of play. Konrad Niezywy made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Ferruccio Domenici sent off a good shot on target. Daniele Tabacco's late challenge caught a Nieciece's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniele Tabacco helped the player get up and apologised. 81 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Giec came free, but Beppe Cannavacciuolo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ciro Di Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 played minutes Nieciece got a freekick which was hit by Eugeniusz Kochowski. The Montesacro FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Montesacro FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
