After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Desiderio Modestio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Adriano Causio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vikingos FC's Adolfo Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Musso in the 10th minute of play. Adriano Causio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Iraido, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Gilberto Salbatore struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Adriano Causio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vikingos FC. After 18 played minutes Vikingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Salbatore. After 22 minutes, Rogelio Iraido made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Talenti Roma Calcio's Adriano Causio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Cordarrell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Carlo Musso fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talenti Roma Calcio's protests and gave Carlo Musso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Talenti Roma Calcio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlo Musso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adriano Causio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Modestio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

In the 53rd minute, Edelmiro Aurken hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Talenti Roma Calcio's Adriano Causio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Talenti Roma Calcio from getting a goal against them. Emilio Raiola kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Anselmo Telmo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Adolfo Cordarrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesare Vanni in the 94th minute of play. The Vikingos FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
