Spectators: 7659 (Terracing: 5746, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bernardo Garofoli got the match started through his kick off. Ercole Pacella was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Adriano Causio, was totally fooled by Montesacro FC's Ferruccio Domenici, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After 8 minutes, Bernardo Garofoli mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Talenti Roma Calcio and the Montesacro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bernardo Garofoli kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 9th minute, Ferruccio Domenici reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adriano Causio. The goal made the score 2-0. Francesco Giorgi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Adriano Stefano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Epifani in the 21st minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Beppe Cannavacciuolo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Garofoli hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Montesacro FC's Edmondo De Lorenzi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adriano Causio. That made the score 3-0 after 24 minutes of play. With a little luck, Talenti Roma Calcio's Adriano Causio got control of the ball when Ciro Di Martino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Talenti Roma Calcio's Adriano Causio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Talenti Roma Calcio from getting a goal against them. Montesacro FC's Ciro Di Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Francesco Giorgi came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Talenti Roma Calcio fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francesco Giorgi couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ciro Di Martino made the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Garofoli hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlo Musso in the 56th minute of play. Ferruccio Domenici fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Causio having to interfere. Emilio Raiola hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes of play, Talenti Roma Calcio's Carlo Musso made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Beppe Cannavacciuolo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adriano Causio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Domenici in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Edmondo De Lorenzi made a precise shot to the right of Adriano Causio. Talenti Roma Calcio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. If Francesco Giorgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Talenti Roma Calcio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Montesacro FC.
