Spectators: 7770 (Terracing: 5828, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jon Lundqvist started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Beppe Cannavacciuolo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by George Ström. Ciro Di Martino charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Di Martino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciro Di Martino hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Beppe Cannavacciuolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Ström, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as George Ström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Beppe Cannavacciuolo. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 19th minute Bruno Valcareggi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Axel Martinsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Montesacro FC booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Olof Jernberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Sundens BK's goal looked a bit too open when Ferruccio Domenici came free, but Axel Martinsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvar Söderman kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Montesacro FC's Alex Sangermano got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Montesacro FC! Montesacro FC:s Beppe Cannavacciuolo showed great skill when he stopped Börje Askestät:s penalty. 40 minutes into the match, Sven-Olof Jernberg notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Montesacro FC's Beppe Cannavacciuolo. Beppe Cannavacciuolo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 44th minute Alessio Conti suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Sven-Olof Jernberg's late challenge caught a Montesacro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sven-Olof Jernberg helped the player get up and apologised. Sven-Olof Jernberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th match minute, Sundens BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvar Söderman to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bruno Valcareggi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sundens BK made a substitution. Tommy Asserlindh replaced George Ström. In the 58th match minute, Montesacro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Stefano to maneuver through the defense. Sundens BK's Börje Askestät got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Palumbo. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Beppe Cannavacciuolo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Beppe Cannavacciuolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Jernberg in the 69th minute of the match. Beppe Cannavacciuolo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tommy Asserlindh, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Beppe Cannavacciuolo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Asserlindh went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Beppe Cannavacciuolo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tommy Asserlindh in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to Sundens BK getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Olof Håkansson hit a great ball. The supporters of Montesacro FC booed when Sundens BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niklas Skålberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Axel Martinsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferruccio Domenici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the game, Sundens BK's Tommy Asserlindh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Beppe Cannavacciuolo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Tommy Asserlindh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Beppe Cannavacciuolo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Montesacro FC's zone, Tommy Asserlindh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Beppe Cannavacciuolo came out of the goal and Tommy Asserlindh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sundens BK fully deserved thier win.
