With an extended leg and a bit of luck Túlio de Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Vikingos FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Gilberto Salbatore hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Leon Garci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio de Toledo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and José Paulo Guerra made a kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolfo Cordarrell showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
