In the 6th minute, Evert Nordlund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Firma Barnängen's Ola Hansson got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Jimmie Ek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ercole Pacella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ola Hansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Talenti Roma Calcio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ola Hansson was slow to take the kick. During this time Firma Barnängen's players had a chance to rest. 18 minutes into the match, Henrik Söder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ercole Pacella. Talenti Roma Calcio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Henrik Söder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Hansson in the 23rd minute of play forced Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Ercole Pacella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Francesco Giorgi in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jimmie Ek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jimmie Ek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Garofoli in the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Jimmie Ek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimmie Ek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Garofoli went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Ola Hansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Garofoli in the 61st minute of play forced Firma Barnängen's goalkeeper Jimmie Ek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Firma Barnängen's goal looked a bit too open when Francesco Giorgi came free, but Jimmie Ek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardo Garofoli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jimmie Ek read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Firma Barnängen got a freekick which was hit by Magnus Bäck. Jimmie Ek made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Bernardo Garofoli sent off a good shot on target. Jimmie Ek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Garofoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Ola Hansson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ercole Pacella was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ola Hansson in the 82nd minute of play forced Talenti Roma Calcio's goalkeeper Ercole Pacella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Henrik Söder ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ercole Pacella was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Ercole Pacella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ola Hansson's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ola Hansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firma Barnängen's supporters rose to their feet, but Ola Hansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ercole Pacella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ola Hansson struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Ercole Pacella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Firma Barnängen. With a little luck, Firma Barnängen's Jimmie Ek got control of the ball when Bernardo Garofoli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Talenti Roma Calcio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
