After a defensive mix-up in Munat Tayka's zone, Codruț Giurăscu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Abar came out of the goal and Codruț Giurăscu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Munat Tayka defense, Codruț Giurăscu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Abar. The Munat Tayka fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Abar should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Alexandria Team08. Niculae Corbea stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Gabriel Abar. 2-0. In the 30th minute, Felippe Abecia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabriel Abar made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Irinel Pască sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Munat Tayka's Jesco Abastas got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 35 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Gabriel Abar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Codruț Giurăscu. In the 42nd minute, Zenaido Abenda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Irinel Pască made a kick off. Irinel Pască received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Gabriel Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cucao Abendano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jesco Abastas fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Munat Tayka's protests and gave Jesco Abastas a yellow card for diving instead. Jesco Abastas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Codruț Giurăscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 68 played minutes Munat Tayka got a freekick which was hit by Nicodemo Abastas. Munat Tayka's Gabriel Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Giurăscu in the 70th minute of play. Cucao Abendano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezar Logofătu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Irinel Pască ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gabriel Abar was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Munat Tayka's Gabriel Abar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Giurăscu in the 80th minute of play. Cucao Abendano struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Corneliu Macamete didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Munat Tayka. 96 minutes into the match, Codruț Giurăscu notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Munat Tayka's Gabriel Abar. Gabriel Abar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
