Itajaí Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miromir Seliga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Elivélton Berger hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Klement Soroka in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flávio Batista saved Itajaí Football Club from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rega Merida CF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Itajaí Football Club.
