Klement Soroka started the match with the kick off. Anatoli Kodzhabashiyski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miromir Seliga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zenon Mis in the 4th minute of play forced Бенковски Тетевен's goalkeeper Anatoli Kodzhabashiyski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Бенковски Тетевен getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Paun Kúnov hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Бенковски Тетевен's zone, Zenon Mis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anatoli Kodzhabashiyski came out of the goal and Zenon Mis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes Бенковски Тетевен got a freekick which was hit by Venko Búrzakov. Simeon Chichev hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, Klement Soroka had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anatoli Kodzhabashiyski. Бенковски Тетевен's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Klement Soroka was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 16 minutes, Venko Búrzakov mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Бенковски Тетевен and the Rega Merida CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venko Búrzakov hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stoyne Stoyanov during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, one of Бенковски Тетевен:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Бенковски Тетевен. The referee gave Rega Merida CF a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Radomil Drugi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Бенковски Тетевен's Anatoli Kodzhabashiyski. 0-2. Бенковски Тетевен's Anatoli Kodzhabashiyski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zenon Mis in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Бенковски Тетевен's Levent Karabonev got a free kick in the 24th minute. Levent Karabonev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Hieronim Rekowski made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Бенковски Тетевен's Mavrudi Tunev dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Hieronim Rekowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milyo Glushkov, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Bogumil Ludwiczak's late challenge caught a Бенковски Тетевен's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bogumil Ludwiczak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Rega Merida CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogumil Ludwiczak to maneuver through the defense.

Rega Merida CF made a substitution. Boguslaw Wolniewicz replaced Radomil Drugi. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yanek Baldev to make the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Rega Merida CF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Hieronim Rekowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milyo Glushkov in the 97th minute of play. When Paun Kúnov came up free with the goalie in the 100th minute, the Бенковски Тетевен fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paun Kúnov couldn't finish the play.
