A collision led to Gladiator FC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ernesto Furino hit a great ball. Gladiator FC's Angelo Marchegiani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klement Soroka in the 15th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Emiliano Federici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelo Marchegiani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klement Soroka in the 22nd minute of play. Ferruccio Rinaldi took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hieronim Rekowski. Hieronim Rekowski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hieronim Rekowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferruccio Rinaldi in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Rinaldi in the 36th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Hieronim Rekowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, Rega Merida CF's Klement Soroka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelo Marchegiani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Klement Soroka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rega Merida CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Soroka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angelo Marchegiani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zenon Mis got free with Angelo Marchegiani in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Angelo Marchegiani managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Rega Merida CF's Zenon Mis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ferruccio Rinaldi in the 90th minute of play forced Rega Merida CF's goalkeeper Hieronim Rekowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Klement Soroka made a precise shot to the right of Angelo Marchegiani. Gladiator FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Rega Merida CF had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
