Christian Jerrald kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Bermudo Abad took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Jayvier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Munat Tayka's Bermudo Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christian Jerrald in the 8th minute of play. Mauricio Abellaneda hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the game, Lekubegi Abel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munat Tayka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formentera the free kick. After a rather tough play, Munat Tayka's Lekubegi Abel got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Jayvier came free, but Bermudo Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bermudo Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Jerrald in the 12th minute of the match. Ubaldo Lizar charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubaldo Lizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Formentera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubaldo Lizar to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Jacobo Abadie was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Munat Tayka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Formentera the free kick. After 19 minutes of play Munat Tayka's Lekubegi Abel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Lekubegi Abel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 20 played minutes, Formentera's Robustiano Policarpio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bermudo Abad came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Formentera reached it. 22 minutes into the match, Christian Jerrald notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Munat Tayka's Bermudo Abad. Bermudo Abad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Hernandez. Norberto Jayvier scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bermudo Abad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 32nd minute, Alonzo Vincente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bermudo Abad was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 38th minute, Arnulfo Seme made a precise shot to the right of Bermudo Abad. Munat Tayka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Prudencio Otsoko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goyo Abello, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Jerrald in the 43rd minute of play forced Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Bermudo Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Goyo Abello was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Bermudo Abad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norberto Jayvier. After 52 played minutes Munat Tayka got a freekick which was hit by Claris Abeita. In the 53rd minute of the match Alonzo Vincente shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bermudo Abad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Norberto Jayvier dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bermudo Abad, 0-5. 58 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Jerrald came free, but Bermudo Abad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Arnulfo Seme fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Formentera's protests and gave Arnulfo Seme a yellow card for diving instead. Bermudo Abad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christian Jerrald in the 65th minute of play. Munat Tayka's Mauricio Abellaneda got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Goyo Abello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Prudencio Otsoko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Alonzo Vincente got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Jerrald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Bermudo Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Formentera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
