Januário Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Pedro Lidon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Muñes de Don Cuco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arrebimba o Malho SLB the free kick. Januário Martins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alonzo Artizar struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Lúcio Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Muñes de Don Cuco. A well done corner resulted in Januário Martins drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind Los Muñes de Don Cuco's goalkeeper. Anacleto Eutor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ben Fica showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. In the 39th minute, Edelmiro Salvino made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Lopes. Arrebimba o Malho SLB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Alonzo Artizar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Lúcio Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Januário Martins was the one to do the kick off. Josué Pais kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. With his leg Lúcio Lopes managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Edelmiro Salvino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. A collision led to Arrebimba o Malho SLB getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Januário Martins hit a great ball. Lúcio Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Artizar in the 61st minute of play. Arrebimba o Malho SLB were furious when Anselmo Borba was red carded, 64 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 64th minute of the game. One of Arrebimba o Malho SLB:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Muñes de Don Cuco:s goal. In the 69th minute, Ben Fica ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anacleto Eutor was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alonzo Artizar in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lúcio Lopes saved Arrebimba o Malho SLB from getting behind. Edelmiro Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Lúcio Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arrebimba o Malho SLB's zone, Edelmiro Salvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lúcio Lopes came out of the goal and Edelmiro Salvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute, Los Muñes de Don Cuco's Alonzo Artizar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lúcio Lopes. Lúcio Lopes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Muñes de Don Cuco had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
