Spectators: 7721 (Terracing: 5792, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 154) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cornelio Jokin kicked off to start the match. In the 5th match minute, Red Hawk Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dei Darroja to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, Luciano Sauca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Niceto Regis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd minute, Robustiano Lluterio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nouvelle Vague's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobias Ourente in the 26th minute. Sol Balboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Regis having to interfere. Roque Urtats charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roque Urtats the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nouvelle Vague were furious when Dario Celipe was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Nouvelle Vague's Dario Celipe got a free kick in the 37th minute. Isidro Bartumeu, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Jokin in the 43rd minute of play forced Red Hawk Football Club's goalkeeper Curcio Labarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luciano Sauca made a kick off. In the 60th minute, Nouvelle Vague's Ramon Damario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Curcio Labarra. Curcio Labarra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Niceto Regis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Sauca in the 79th minute of the match. A collision led to Nouvelle Vague getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Aquilino Pagomari hit a great ball. Ramon Damario scored 1-2 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Curcio Labarra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Nouvelle Vague supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Nouvelle Vague would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
