After some careless play in the O MOTIVO ⚽ defense, Gildo Dracena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dida Braga. The O MOTIVO ⚽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dida Braga should have stopped the shot. After 13 minutes of play, Miau Stars's Dinei Carioca made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Braga was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 16th minute, Gildo Dracena left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miau Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 25 minutes into the game, Miau Stars's Nilson Sanches nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dida Braga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Dida Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilson Sanches in the 28th minute of the match. Sidney Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Batista in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to O MOTIVO ⚽ getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Celsinho Magalhães hit a great ball. Sidney Queirós came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by O MOTIVO ⚽'s Válter Mattos. But to his dismay, Válter Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Sidney Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celsinho Magalhães in the 41st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Celsinho Magalhães dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sidney Queirós, 2-4. Sidney Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Batista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 2-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dinei Carioca to make the kick off. Nilson Sanches received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Dida Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gildo Dracena's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dida Braga firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 58th minute Nilson Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dida Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Dida Braga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save O MOTIVO ⚽ from getting a goal against them. Sidney Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Batista in the 61st minute of play. Sidney Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Batista in the 63rd minute of the match. André Batista took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sidney Queirós. Sidney Queirós dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. Miau Stars's Sidney Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Mattos in the 68th minute of play. Dida Braga was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilson Sanches showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-5 in the 71 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Mattos in the 77th minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Sidney Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinei Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dida Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, André Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sidney Queirós. Miau Stars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that André Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-5. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Dida Braga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Miau Stars booed when O MOTIVO ⚽ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Válter Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 90th minute, Antônio Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney Queirós didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válter Mattos went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-5 was the resulting score. Dinei Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
