Tad Ezell kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Caleb Strong made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Mateo Arias sent off a good shot on target. In the 25th minute, Tad Ezell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hilario Orixe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brendon Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Teofilo Roldan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's zone, Mateo Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caleb Strong came out of the goal and Mateo Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Arias struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Caleb Strong didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ManagerZone Academy. After a rather tough play, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Spencer Powell got a free kick in the 40th minute. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Caleb Strong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Gaufred in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Glen Hawk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Teofilo Roldan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Gaufred was the one to do the kick off. If Brendon Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ManagerZone Academy's Roberto Louis got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Teofilo Roldan came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Glen Hawk. But to his dismay, Glen Hawk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Anacleto Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Caleb Strong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caleb Strong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Guerau, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Guerau in the 83rd minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Caleb Strong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Roldan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Glen Hawk in the 93rd minute. The supporters of DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO booed when ManagerZone Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Henry didn't get a good kick on the ball. The goalkeeper, Teofilo Roldan, was totally fooled by DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Marquis Hawthorne, who 100 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
