Caleb Strong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramon Damario, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendon Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Nestor Beltza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Caleb Strong skillfully saved the ball. Caleb Strong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramon Damario went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 12 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Jokin came free, but Caleb Strong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caleb Strong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornelio Jokin in the 12th minute of the match. Caleb Strong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tobias Ourente, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goal looked a bit too open when Cornelio Jokin came free, but Caleb Strong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Tad Ezell hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's zone, Cornelio Jokin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caleb Strong came out of the goal and Cornelio Jokin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the game, Cornelio Jokin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Caleb Strong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caleb Strong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes, Nestor Beltza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nouvelle Vague and the DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Nouvelle Vague was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Beltza to maneuver through the defense. Caleb Strong didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Agustin Abechuco went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cornelio Jokin to strike the kick off in the second half. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Caleb Strong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Damario in the 60th minute of play. After 60 played minutes DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO got a freekick which was hit by Glen Hawk. Caleb Strong was a little too slow when Ramon Damario got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-5. DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Caleb Strong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO from getting a goal against them. If Aquilino Pagomari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Nouvelle Vague's Ramon Damario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Caleb Strong. Caleb Strong yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Damario in the 81st minute of play forced DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's goalkeeper Caleb Strong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tobias Ourente made a great header on Nouvelle Vague's corner, it was just that DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO's Caleb Strong managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 87th minute, Cornelio Jokin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caleb Strong was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-7. After 91 minutes of play, Nouvelle Vague's Cornelio Jokin made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caleb Strong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caleb Strong took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Ourente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Ourente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caleb Strong having to interfere. The DIABLO ROJO CALIFORNIANO fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nouvelle Vague were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
