Spectators: 7698 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1770, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nestor Pelayo took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Abuba Akotonon FC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Pelayo in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benicio Txeru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Enrique Hrabina got a free kick in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute of the match Tobias Ourente sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benicio Txeru skillfully saved the ball. When Roque Urtats fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nouvelle Vague's protests and gave Roque Urtats a yellow card for diving instead. Roque Urtats hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ramon Damario kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benicio Txeru. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. Nouvelle Vague were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Abuba Akotonon FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Ourente took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Tobias Ourente got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benicio Txeru quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 36 minutes into the game, Abuba Akotonon FC's Maximiliano Peruanton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Oskarbi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. With 40 minutes on the clock, Enrique Hrabina commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Nouvelle Vague's Ramon Damario got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fulgencio Shepherd to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Agustin Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 55th minute of the game. One of Nouvelle Vague:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Abuba Akotonon FC:s goal. 70 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Lluterio came free, but Benicio Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Nouvelle Vague booed when Abuba Akotonon FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas-Armando Giunta didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute of the match Tobias Ourente sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benicio Txeru skillfully saved the ball. Robustiano Lluterio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Tobias Ourente left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nouvelle Vague fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Nestor Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
