Abuba Akotonon FC's Benicio Txeru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Corrêa in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milton Giménez in the 93rd minute of play forced Miau Stars's goalkeeper Sidney Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Miau Stars's Sidney Queirós got control of the ball when Milton Giménez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Miau Stars fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Abuba Akotonon FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
