After 33 played minutes Uptown Otters got a freekick which was hit by Gabriel Enciu. In the 34th minute, Basílio do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petre Luican got free with Nilson Dracena in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Ştef came free, but Nilson Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute, SE Palmeiras's Perivaldo Salles ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iordache Sfârlea. Iordache Sfârlea yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. In the 56th minute, Basílio do Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Aristide Crivac had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Dracena. SE Palmeiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristide Crivac was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matei Mischie during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Uptown Otters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matei Mischie to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, SE Palmeiras's Perivaldo Salles got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Basílio do Valle fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SE Palmeiras's protests and gave Basílio do Valle a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Basílio do Valle hit a great ball. The supporters of Uptown Otters booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Ştef in the 95th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Uptown Otters fully deserved thier win.
