The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tasso FC's Zeferino Távora proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Tasso FC from getting a goal against them. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Maximino Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Mendonça in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, Tasso FC's Zeferino Távora got control of the ball when Victorino Barrionuevo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 12 played minutes Tasso FC got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Nogueira. 14 minutes into the game, Roberto Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Maximino Frederico was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zeferino Távora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Ixaka in the 19th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Octavio Laffitte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeferino Távora. That made the score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Eneto in the 22nd minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Zeferino Távora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute Roberto Ribeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximino Frederico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tasso FC's Zeferino Távora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antonio Ixaka in the 25th minute of play. Tasso FC's Zeferino Távora proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Tasso FC from getting a goal against them. Maximino Frederico came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Tasso FC's Diego Mendonça. But to his dismay, Diego Mendonça quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 34th minute, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Victorino Barrionuevo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zeferino Távora. Zeferino Távora yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Teofilo Sein might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeferino Távora. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teofilo Sein ran back to his position shaking his head. Zeferino Távora made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Octavio Laffitte sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrício Tomé in the 42nd minute of play forced ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goalkeeper Maximino Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Mendonça stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Maximino Frederico made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Mendonça in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Mauro Quinton got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Horacio Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. 54 minutes into the match, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Mendonça came free, but Maximino Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zeferino Távora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Laffitte in the 63rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by António Belo during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. António Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Maximino Frederico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 73rd minute, Teofilo Sein hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Roberto Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the game, Emílio Nogueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tasso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ the free kick. Zeferino Távora showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Laffitte, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Barrionuevo in the 86th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Zeferino Távora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Horacio Abadia hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Tasso FC's António Belo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed António Belo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tasso FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and António Belo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. António Belo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ had won after a very even match.
