Maximino Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dwayne Clement in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goal looked a bit too open when Dwayne Clement came free, but Maximino Frederico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Frederico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from DeAngelo Petty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dwayne Clement in the 29th minute of play forced ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's goalkeeper Maximino Frederico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ㄩ几ᗪ乇尺Ꮆ尺ㄖㄩ几ᗪ's Maximino Frederico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Jennings in the 36th minute of play. Bradly Gray made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Ixaka in the 42nd minute of play. Victorino Barrionuevo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bradly Gray came out and tried to block the shot, but Victorino Barrionuevo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Octavio Laffitte was the one to do the kick off.
