The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Gavino Osorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Steven in the 4th minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Adrio to maneuver through the defense. 5 minutes into the game, Les Tigres's Victor Steven nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gavino Osorio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Les Tigres booed when Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Isaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavino Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Iratze in the 13th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Rigoberto Iratze left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Les Tigres fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 16th minute, Feliciano Tuste got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabian Adrio kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th match minute, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cecilio Heli to maneuver through the defense. If Rigoberto Iratze had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Les Tigres's Feliciano Tuste got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gavino Osorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Steven in the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebio Leoiar during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eusebio Leoiar hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute Victor Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Osorio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Feliciano Tuste fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Tigres's protests and gave Feliciano Tuste a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Tuste. 37 minutes in the game Guillermo Tano did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ivan Tohias. After 38 minutes of play, Les Tigres's Rigoberto Iratze made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gavino Osorio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Victor Steven took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Osorio. Gavino Osorio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Belgrano LOS PIRATAS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Les Tigres were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victor Steven was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rigoberto Iratze got free with Gavino Osorio in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victor Steven might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gavino Osorio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Steven ran back to his position shaking his head. Gavino Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Steven in the 60th minute of play. Les Tigres's Rigoberto Iratze got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Gavino Osorio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Belgrano LOS PIRATAS from getting a goal against them. Victor Steven had several of the Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Gavino Osorio as he didn't even see the shot coming. Victor Steven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Gavino Osorio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. With a little luck, Belgrano LOS PIRATAS's Gavino Osorio got control of the ball when Rigoberto Iratze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gavino Osorio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Iratze in the 86th minute. After 88 played minutes Belgrano LOS PIRATAS got a freekick which was hit by Octavio Paskal. 89 minutes into the match, Les Tigres's Victor Steven sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gavino Osorio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Les Tigres's Feliciano Tuste got a free kick in the 91st minute. 93 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Iratze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Les Tigres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Belgrano LOS PIRATAS the free kick. After 93 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Iratze. After 95 minutes, Ivan Tohias mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Les Tigres and the Belgrano LOS PIRATAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 96th minute, Eusebio Leoiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
