Spectators: 7651 (Terracing: 5740, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Keilor Volio started the match with the kick off. Reynaldo Chaverri hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Flávio Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dino Monteiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keilor Volio went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. If Flávio Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, CD SHETTANI's Elton Tolaba got control of the ball when Claudinei Godoi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elton Tolaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Dino Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernie Sanabria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maikol Matute during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, CD SHETTANI's Maikol Matute got a free kick in the 34th minute. Claudinei Godoi took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elton Tolaba. Elton Tolaba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 39 minutes into the match, Jonny Elizondo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Arsenal de Gols F.C's Dino Monteiro. Dino Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Keilor Volio managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD SHETTANI's supporters rose to their feet, but Keilor Volio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dino Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Claudinei Godoi made a kick off. Flávio Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Godoi in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elton Tolaba saved CD SHETTANI from getting behind. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Flávio Fontes got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Keilor Volio might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dino Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keilor Volio ran back to his position shaking his head. Keilor Volio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Dino Monteiro made a huge save. After 69 played minutes CD SHETTANI got a freekick which was hit by Jonny Elizondo. Yossi Clavo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Claudinei Godoi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elton Tolaba read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Victor Villalobos charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Villalobos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Victor Villalobos hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Keilor Volio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dino Monteiro. That made the score 2-5 in the 78 minute of play. Andrézinho Marinho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elton Tolaba having to make a save. Andrézinho Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Elton Tolaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elton Tolaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Godoi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded CD SHETTANI left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Arsenal de Gols F.C.
