An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Tohias in the 9th minute of play forced Dal 3ello's goalkeeper Dadá Viana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute Victor Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dadá Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Dal 3ello defense, Victor Steven kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dadá Viana. The Dal 3ello fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dadá Viana should have stopped the shot. Perivaldo Pitta kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half Les Tigres were leading 1-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 60 played minutes Victor Steven rounded Dal 3ello's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-7. Dadá Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Steven, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. When Rigoberto Iratze came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Les Tigres fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rigoberto Iratze couldn't finish the play. If Victor Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dal 3ello's Dadá Viana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Steven in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, Dal 3ello's Dadá Viana got control of the ball when Feliciano Tuste tried to sneak it across the goal line. Noel Toscano's late challenge caught a Les Tigres's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Noel Toscano helped the player get up and apologised. Noel Toscano hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Paulino Orixe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Les Tigres's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Orixe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dadá Viana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
