When Les Tigres's Victor Steven in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Higinio Laurin fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Tigres's protests and gave Higinio Laurin a yellow card for diving instead. Higinio Laurin kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Rigoberto Iratze's late challenge caught a CD SHETTANI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rigoberto Iratze helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th minute of the match Maikol Matute shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Ostadar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Feliciano Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CD SHETTANI's Elton Tolaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Steven in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Les Tigres booed when CD SHETTANI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Minor Morera didn't get a good kick on the ball. CD SHETTANI's Elton Tolaba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Orixe in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Fabian Reynardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paulino Orixe struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Elton Tolaba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Les Tigres. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victor Steven to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Victor Steven made a precise shot to the right of Elton Tolaba. CD SHETTANI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 56 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Chaverri was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD SHETTANI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Les Tigres the free kick. In the 56th minute, Reynaldo Chaverri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, CD SHETTANI's Jonny Elizondo got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute, Keilor Volio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Martin Ostadar. The goal made the score 1-1. After 70 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Tuste. 72 minutes into the match, CD SHETTANI's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Iratze came free, but Elton Tolaba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Victor Steven who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CD SHETTANI's Elton Tolaba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Elton Tolaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Iratze in the 78th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulino Orixe during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Les Tigres's Paulino Orixe got a free kick in the 78th minute. Bernie Sanabria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Ostadar having to interfere. In the 85th minute Victor Steven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elton Tolaba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Victor Steven had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in CD SHETTANI's zone, Victor Steven stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elton Tolaba came out of the goal and Victor Steven tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
