Vigil Blanquel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurențiu Muntean's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Vigil Blanquel came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Stiinta-Univ.'s Niculae Plopșor. But to his dismay, Niculae Plopșor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. ...Pingue S.C....'s Vigil Blanquel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Giosu in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xizavier Monterinos was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Matei Giosu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stiinta-Univ.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Matei Giosu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niculae Plopșor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stiinta-Univ.'s Traian Lupescu got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ...Pingue S.C....'s zone, Laurențiu Muntean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vigil Blanquel came out of the goal and Laurențiu Muntean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the ...Pingue S.C.... defense, Laurențiu Muntean kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vigil Blanquel. The ...Pingue S.C.... fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vigil Blanquel should have stopped the shot. Matei Giosu scored 0-4 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vigil Blanquel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stiinta-Univ.'s Traian Lupescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 84th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vigil Blanquel but with some difficulty. Robin Oces's late challenge caught a Stiinta-Univ.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Robin Oces helped the player get up and apologised. Robin Oces kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Traian Lupescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Vigil Blanquel however easily saved by the left post. Vigil Blanquel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Giosu in the 94th minute of the match.
