The long shot by Octav Glăvan in the 3rd minute really tested Ettore Franco's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 6th minute, Octav Glăvan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ettore Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ciccio Stella hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Radu Moldovan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Rosato scored 1-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nae Morar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Damiano Rosato struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Nae Morar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sconvols United. After 24 minutes of play, Sconvols United's Alfredo Scafati made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nae Morar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alex Rușanu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Damiano Rosato's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nae Morar was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After some careless play in the ASF BAIA MARE -MM- defense, Damiano Rosato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nae Morar. The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nae Morar should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Damiano Rosato stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Damiano Rosato could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Nae Morar however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciccio Stella in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nae Morar saved ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting behind. After 58 minutes of play, Sconvols United's Damiano Rosato made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nae Morar was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Sconvols United booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcel Robu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cesare De Lorenzi struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Nae Morar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sconvols United. When Ciccio Stella fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sconvols United's protests and gave Ciccio Stella a yellow card for diving instead. Mădălin Bănățeanu hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Basarab Spoială received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ettore Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciccio Stella kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Marcel Robu's late challenge caught a Sconvols United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Robu helped the player get up and apologised. The Sconvols United supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sconvols United would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
