The supporters of FC Berea booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amos Cristofari didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Basarab Arotăriței dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ettore Franco, 1-0. FC Berea's Dacian Iurea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciccio Stella in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Berea's goalkeeper Dacian Iurea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sconvols United were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after FC Berea's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cesare De Lorenzi took the corner. The corner led Sconvols United's Alfredo Scafati to fire away a dangerous shot which Dacian Iurea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 33rd minute, Ciro Del Greco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Berea's Dacian Iurea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damiano Rosato in the 35th minute of play. Eric Dărmănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Ciccio Stella sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dacian Iurea skillfully saved the ball. Dacian Iurea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciccio Stella in the 40th minute of the match. Dacian Iurea came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sconvols United's Alfredo Scafati. But to his dismay, Alfredo Scafati quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Sabin Vâlcu hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes Sconvols United got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Scafati.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Basarab Arotăriței made a kick off. Ettore Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Boacă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Sabin Vâlcu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ettore Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 59 minutes into the match, Sconvols United's Damiano Rosato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dacian Iurea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the FC Berea defense, Damiano Rosato kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dacian Iurea. The FC Berea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dacian Iurea should have stopped the shot. FC Berea made a substitution. Toader Buzoianu replaced Niculae Frumuzache. Sconvols United's Ettore Franco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Buzoianu in the 68th minute of play. Alfredo Scafati charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Scafati the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Sconvols United's Alfredo Scafati got a free kick in the 89th minute. After some careless play in the Sconvols United defense, Basarab Arotăriței kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ettore Franco. The Sconvols United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ettore Franco should have stopped the shot. The supporters of FC Berea booed when Sconvols United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio Puce didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 minutes of play, FC Berea's Gigi Ardeleanu made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ettore Franco was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Berea had won after a very even match.
