Stiinta-Univ.'s Horaţiu Macamete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Stiinta-Univ. from getting a goal against them. Laurențiu Muntean charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurențiu Muntean the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Octav Glăvan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Octav Glăvan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Emil Floruțiu got a free kick in the 25th minute. 36 minutes into the match, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Basarab Spoială sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Horaţiu Macamete narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Horaţiu Macamete made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mădălin Bănățeanu in the 37th minute. In the 59th minute, Octav Glăvan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Horaţiu Macamete was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Basarab Spoială kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Traian Lupescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basarab Spoială in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Macamete prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 80th minute of the match, Irinel Itoafă tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nae Morar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Laurențiu Muntean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Nae Morar made a huge save. Basarab Spoială received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Horaţiu Macamete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the game, Octav Glăvan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Horaţiu Macamete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fully deserved thier win.
