Spectators: 7757 (Terracing: 5820, Seating: 1783, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dove Roig started the match with the kick off. Norbert Domenech was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Amadeu Pombal capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Amadeu Pombal really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Herblay's goalkeeper Norbert Domenech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilian Fonseca. Norbert Domenech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Amadeu Pombal in the 19th minute. Enio Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Charles Gauche in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilian Fonseca got free with Norbert Domenech in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Amadeu Pombal took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Norbert Domenech to make any attempt to save it. After 36 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Mathieu Bouziane. Wilian Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Norbert Domenech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Francisco Mota in the 42nd minute of the match. If Gildas Montaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hernani Lira made the kick off in the second half. Enio Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucien Decottignies in the 53rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mustapha Guilbert during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 62 played minutes Herblay got a freekick which was hit by Mustapha Guilbert. Wilian Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hernani Lira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Herblay's Norbert Domenech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilian Fonseca in the 66th minute of play. When Mustapha Guilbert was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. 72 minutes into the match, Hernani Lira notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Herblay's Norbert Domenech. Norbert Domenech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Norbert Domenech stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. In the 80th minute Jean-Charles Gauche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Mestre GG's Enio Pinho got control of the ball when Dove Roig tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilian Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Domenech having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Herblay's goal looked a bit too open when João Francisco Mota came free, but Norbert Domenech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
