In the 11thth minute of the game Hernani Lira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Viola Invest's Florin Enoaia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Amadeu Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nechifor Bîndean hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Florin Enoaia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wilian Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After having played for 27 minutes, Amadeu Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mestre GG's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeu Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mestre GG's Enio Pinho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Mestre GG from getting a goal against them. Severino Quintal hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Isaltino Oliveira hit a great ball. Viola Invest's Nicolae Jilăveanu came free and shot a quick shot against goal 43 minutes in the game, fortunately Enio Pinho had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 44th minute Victor Comșa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enio Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernani Lira to make the kick off. Wilian Fonseca's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Florin Enoaia firmly grabbed it by the left post. Florin Enoaia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernani Lira in the 60th minute of the match. João Francisco Mota hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Leopoldo Barbosa charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Barbosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Mestre GG getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Enio Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolae Jilăveanu in the 75th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Viola Invest got a freekick which was hit by Marius Bogatu. After a rather tough play, Viola Invest's Nechifor Bîndean got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernani Lira in the 91st minute of play forced Viola Invest's goalkeeper Florin Enoaia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Wilian Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mestre GG were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
