In the 3rd minute Jean-Charles Gauche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doğukan Aktürk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Herblay booed when Boğazova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baba Baba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Doğukan Aktürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dove Roig in the 7th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Jean-Charles Gauche had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Doğukan Aktürk. Boğazova's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Charles Gauche was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dove Roig blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Doğukan Aktürk having to make a save. A collision led to Boğazova getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Baba Baba hit a great ball. Herblay's Norbert Domenech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Efe Kökten in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Jean-Charles Gauche was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Herblay's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Boğazova the free kick. A collision led to Herblay getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jean-Charles Gauche hit a great ball. Herblay's Norbert Domenech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Herblay from getting a goal against them. Kuddusî Dervişoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Norbert Domenech having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Ahmet Efe Kökten recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Norbert Domenech. Ahmet Efe Kökten showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After the first half Herblay were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kuddusî Dervişoğlu made the kick off in the second half. Herblay's Norbert Domenech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ardahan Mukremin in the 51st minute of play. Doğukan Aktürk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dove Roig, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ardahan Mukremin in the 59th minute of play forced Herblay's goalkeeper Norbert Domenech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Norbert Domenech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kuddusî Dervişoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucien Decottignies fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Doğukan Aktürk having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ardahan Mukremin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Norbert Domenech was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Herblay's Norbert Domenech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ardahan Mukremin in the 81st minute of play. Turabi Vahit charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Turabi Vahit the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Samuel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Doğukan Aktürk. Boğazova's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Baba Baba took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norbert Domenech. Norbert Domenech dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
