Ferruccio Ascani charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferruccio Ascani the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gediminas Tavoras struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ettore Paris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI. When Cesare Cinalli fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Montechiarugolo AFC's protests and gave Cesare Cinalli a yellow card for diving instead. Gediminas Tavoras received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ettore Paris came out and tried to block the shot, but Gediminas Tavoras slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 24th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrea Guerrieri in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nerijus Sadeckas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Merūnas Urbelis's late challenge caught a Montechiarugolo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Merūnas Urbelis helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes, Montechiarugolo AFC's Cesare Cinalli shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nerijus Sadeckas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montechiarugolo AFC reached it. Montechiarugolo AFC's Ferruccio Ascani got his second yellow card of the match in the 39th minute. The referee ordered Ferruccio Ascani off the ground. Ferruccio Ascani hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Žydrūnas Tindžiulis in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fulvio Filice was the one to do the kick off. Achille De Felice might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nerijus Sadeckas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Achille De Felice ran back to his position shaking his head. Nerijus Sadeckas was a little too slow when Fulvio Filice got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-1. Ettore Paris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gediminas Tavoras, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elia Finocchi charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elia Finocchi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Fulvio Filice kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute Žydrūnas Tindžiulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ettore Paris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Montechiarugolo AFC's Ettore Paris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gediminas Tavoras in the 85th minute of play. During the 85th minute of the match Achille De Felice completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Achille De Felice a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 86 played minutes Montechiarugolo AFC got a freekick which was hit by Achille De Felice. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FK Užnemunė SLAVA UKRAINI fans cheered their team off the field, for while Montechiarugolo AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
